Brandon Gurley is an executive coach and public safety leader with more than 27 years of experience leading complex organizations in high-stakes environments.
He currently serves as Chief of Police for the City of Brookhaven, Georgia, where he is responsible for strategic direction, operational oversight, and organizational performance across the department.
Throughout his career, Brandon has led teams through critical incidents, organizational growth, and evolving public expectations—where leadership decisions carry real consequences.
Executive Leadership Experience
As Chief of Police, Brandon leads all aspects of departmental operations, including strategic planning, budget development, policy governance, and performance accountability.
He has directed major initiatives in public safety technology, organizational development, and operational modernization, including the implementation of a Real-Time Crime Center and advanced data-driven policing strategies.
In addition to his current role, Brandon previously served as Deputy Chief and Division Commander, playing a key role in building and developing a modern municipal police department from its early stages.
